After A Record Breaking Win Jeremy Moussa Is Voted Max Preps West Region Player Of The Week
Jeremy Moussa is really heating up this season. During his first campaign as varsity Quarterback for Roosevelt High School, Moussa has thrown an average of three touchdowns in each of his seven games. As we predicted, he is improving each week, showing maturity at the Quarterback position. If he continues at this pace, he will definitely earn a bigger spotlight.
This past Friday night Jeremy Moussa led the Mustangs to a 56-37 victory over the Corona High School Panthers, setting a new school record. Jeremy completed 26/42 passes for 517 yards and 7 touchdowns, shattering Roosevelt’s previous mark of 423 yards, earning himself national recognition and a MaxPreps/USA Football Player of the Week for week 7. The MaxPreps/USA Football Player of the Week award winners honor the eight top high school performers each week throughout the United States.
Judging from the way the 2018 Quarterback is playing and with the weapons he has in other EAT athletes, such as Chase Williams and Randy Rivera, there will be more games like this Friday’s game and perhaps college scholarship offers. He is smooth with his release able to hit receivers in stride as well as put balls in tight windows. We are looking forward to more big games and an exciting 7on7 season.
