Jordyn Manier Roosevelt (Corona) Long Jumper Shatters Martin Luther King Jr High School Meet Record In With A 23’1/4″
Jordyn Manier started the 2015 track season with a personal best in the long jump of 17′. At the start of the season Jordyn who was passionate about the fact that he wanted to become a state champion in the long jump and break his high school record of 22 feet. So immediately the kid got to work. Three days a week of consistent training in the off-season as well as competing in the Junior Olympic track circuit. Throughout the entire off-season he never missed one day of training or lifting. The results of hard work, dedication and an overall passion for his event was evident this Tuesday. Not only did Jordyn win his first league title in the long jump he completely demolished the King High School long jump meet record. Mainer won his event with a mark of 23’1/4″. Jordyn Manier currently is rank 3rd in the state of California in the Long Jump.
