E.A.T. 7on7 Face Mater Dei At USC

E.A.T. 7on7 Face Mater Dei At The USC 7on7 Shoot Out On Saturday Just Missing The Title By Four Points

Explosive Athletic Training Once again our 7on7 team defied the odds. With all the chips stacked up against us again our boys went out and proved everyone wrong. At the USC 7on7 shoot out this past weekend our Explosive Athletic Training 7on7 team reached the championship game to face Mater Dei’s LIDS team. Facing overwhelming numbers the boys stood tall to face one of the number one high school programs in the country. The game was definitely a shoot out with each team making plays on both offense and defense the game was a close one. Congratulations to both teams on a hard-fought game. Hats off or better “LIDS” off to the Mater Dei team for a great victory. Players from both teams earned scholarship offers from the University of Southern California. Our stand out sophomore receiver Chase Williams, receiver at Roosevelt high school picked up his 5th scholarship offer. Congratulations E.A.T. 7on7 on a great season fellas and coaches.

E.A.T. 7on7 Takes It All At Cal Berkeley

Congratulations To Our E.A.T. 7on7 Athletes For Winning It All At Cal Berkeley & Bringing Home One College Scholarship Offer On Our First College Tour

The Explosive Athletic Training 7on7 team set out on our first college tour with a few goals in mind.

  • Show out in front of college coaches
  • Win the Cal Berkeley tournament
  • Earn scholarship offer

Explosive Athletic Training The fellas were able to achieve those goals as a unit. We started the day off pacing ourselves following a period of individual drills with the Cal Berkeley coaching staff. Our boys managed to gain the attention of a few coaches by showing not only athleticism but fundamental skills needed to play at the next level. We then began our pool play competition.
During the pool play rounds we were dominant and sharp starting of undefeated. Our 4-0 start was a result of disciplined defense and execution by the offense. In two of our four pool play games the defense held teams to 0 points keeping the opposing offenses of the field. In each attempt to stretch our secondary the teams we played were unable to find their rhythm against our talented secondary.
Our offense was equally successful managing to score on every drive this weekend even winning by more than four touchdowns versus some of northern California’s top teams.
We finished the day in a shoot out with our brothers from so-cal and tour-mates RhareBreed which made for an exciting ending to the day. Winning the Berkeley tournament championship was not the icing on the cake for our weekend. We left the bay with two scholarship offers.
As a result of hard work, training and sending out film for athletes on both teams both organizations managed to pull in scholarship offers from Cal Berkeley making our trip a successful one.

Special congratulations to Manuel Allen (Rharebreed) and Chase Williams (EAT7on7) on receiving scholarship offers from Cal Berkeley.

Khoury Bethley

Khoury Bethley Was A Bright Spot For EAT 7on7 Defense At Pylon

Sophomore Safety Khoury Bethley Hauled In 5 INT’s Verses Top Competition At Pylon In Vegas

Khoury Bethley Khoury Bethley is just getting started. As a two sport athlete this kid is shining on both the baseball field and on the football field. Khoury splits reps between both sports and plays the same position for each. If he’s not snagging baseballs out the air in center field for Don Lugo high school in Chino, he’s on the football field forcing the opposing offense to go 3 and out.
At the Pylon Elite Camps 7v7 tournament in Las Vegas Bethley was definitely all over the field. With multiple interceptions on both days of competition Khoury Bethley played at a high level. He too makes up a strong foundation for EAT 7on7 team to look forward to in the future. Look for Khoury to shine for us this Sunday at Passingdowns regional in Fontana.
